Founded by two Vanderbilt graduates, IQTalent Partners began as an idea which stemmed from the in-house model of recruiting.
Recognizing that contract, commission-based recruiters were developing a reputation for chasing commissions without adding real value to their clients, Chris Murdock decided to become a recruiting rebel and create a new standard. Starting in his garage in Silicon Valley, Murdock’s emphasis on quality relationships and service allowed him to build a business with a strong foundation.
IQTalent Partners’ growth has accelerated exponentially by understanding that today’s economy ebbs and flows and that companies appreciate the on-demand, flexible business model. Murdock grew from his garage in San Jose to a firm of more than 150 consultants, headquartered just five miles from his alma mater in Nashville, TN.
I never let go of Nashville after graduating from Vanderbilt in 1999.We created the innovative, on-demand search model to bridge the gap between an in-house team and external expertise.
